| Rationale | ||||||
Storytelling consists of two pieces – a body wrap and a curtain. Both are made from plastic bags which have been stitched and melted. The two parts can work independently. Using visual metaphors such as private and public space, or the body and garment I have expressed the separation of internal and articulated identity. The beauty of the coverings is aimed at getting away from the perception of the articulated identity as ‘fake’ and deceptive. |
